Southcity cricketers crack SKZN sides

The Southcity Christian College first and second cricket teams played against St Henry’s on Saturday.

The second team won by 11 runs. Tyrone Fisher scored an unbeaten 58 off 44 balls while Josh Pretorius took 5-14 in his six overs.

The first team lost by four wickets. Gareth Pieterse (31 runs) and Michael Clifton (34 runs) top-scored while Nevada Uys took 3-15 in his four overs.

Eleven Southcity boys have been selected for Southern KwaZulu-Natal cricket sides – two U15s, six U17/U19s plus three non-travelling reserves.
