Southcity dominate on the hockey field

Southcity Christian College hockey teams were in devastating form against Durban North College and Amanzimtoti High School last week.

The girls won all their games against Durban North College comfortably, the first team winning 5-1, the Under-16s 2-0 and the Under-14s 5-0.

The boys were even more ruthless, the first team winning 8-0 and the Under-16s 9-0.

Results were less favourable on the netball and rugby fields.

The first netball team lost 6-26, the Under-16 netball team lost 10-14 and the Under-14 netball team drew 14-14.

The first rugby team lost 0-32 nil and the Under-15s lost 0-55. The Under-16 rugby boys played against Suid Natal and secured a 27-10 victory.

As they did against Durban North College, the hockey teams finished unbeaten against Toti High.

The first boys won 1-0, the first girls won 2-1, the second girls drew 0-0, the Under-16 boys won 2-0, the Under-16 girls won 2-1 and the Under-14 girls drew 0-0.
