As the 2020 school year with its unprecedented challenges due to the Covid-19 pandemic winds down, Southcity Christian College learner Ondela Mtati is optimistic that 2021 will be much better.
“With the majority of the cultural and sporting activities of 2020 brought to an unexpected halt, 2021 is set to be a promising year,” said Ondela, who will serve as head boy next year.
“I see the year 2021 as a year in which every single pupil acquires a drive and incentive to strive for and continually move toward excellence in all aspects in and out of the campus.
“Through my actions, I am determined to evoke in every pupil growth toward Christ and a change in our school with the Almighty by my side.
“I can confidently say that 2021 will be a manifestation of the vision and mission in which we collectively make a move in developing a Christ-centred foundation, spreading and preserving love for one another, maintaining integrity and tolerance, and fully committing ourselves through self-motivation in all that we do…A vision and mission that I have adopted and my family Southcity Christian College has proudly maintained for so long,” he added.
