The fourth annual Port Edward Bass Classic hosted by the South Coast Bass Association will be held on private farm dams in the Port Edward area on Saturday.

Anglers will be spoilt for choice with 16 private dams to choose from.

As the competition adheres to KwaZulu-Natal Bass Federation rules, it’s strictly catch-and-release on artificial lures only.

‘We have fantastic prizes once again this year and we encourage as many junior anglers as possible to join us,” SCBA chairman Manus Erasmus told eHowz!t.

Entry fee for the competition is R80 and entry forms are available at Gremlins Fishing Tackle in Margate.

Anglers will also be able to enter at the captain’s briefing, which will be held at TO Strand in Leisure Bay on Friday at 6pm.

Fishing is from 5am to 5pm on Saturday.

To enter or for more information, contact Erasmus on 083 412 0960 or erasmusinv@telkomsa.net.
