The Auto Exec Monthly Mug produced some exciting golf at Port Shepstone Country Club on Saturday.

The Individual Stableford came down to wire, Ken Ladbrooke ultimately pipping Jen Hulley on a count out on 41 points.

The A Division was won by Charles Rostance on 69 nett with runner-up Christo Janse van Vuuren one shot back.

Darren Ovenstone held off Ricky Naidoo (68 nett) to win the B Division on 67 nett, while Roly Shaw (68 nett) comfortably won the C Division ahead of Ewald Ziervogel (71 nett).

Boasting the best gross was Gavin van Wyk (78, on handicap), while Paul Bunge emerged as the Mug winner on 67 nett.

Wednesday’s Individual Bogey Bisque, meanwhile, was won by John Tingle on plus seven.

Shaw was second on plus six, while club chairman Leon Reeders won a count out for third place on plus five.
