Legendary golfer Mark McNulty visited the NSRI Station 20 Shelly Beach crew on Sunday.

“Mark is a great supporter of NSRI and always makes time to stop and chat to the crew in Shelly Beach,” said station commander Jerry Jackson.

Rhodesian-born McNulty was one of the leading players on the European Tour from the mid-1980s to the mid-1990, and cracked the top 10 of the Official World Golf Ranking for 83 weeks from 1987 to 1992.

He won the Sunshine Tour Order of Merit nine times (in 1980/81, 1981/82, 1984/85, 1985/86, 1986/87, 1992/93, 1996/97, 1997/98 and 2000/01), was the runner-up in the 1990 Open Championship and recorded 59 professional titles over the course of his illustrious career.
