It was another good golfing weekend at Port Shepstone Country Club.

Friday’s JB Licensing Business Day set the tone as a camaraderie-filled competition.

David Rush, Leon Bunge, Sanjay Singh and Paul Geoffery (pictured above) emerged as the winners on 94 points.

The runners-up were Howard Crouch, Smittie Stieger, Jaco Buitendag and Ken Morris on 91 and in third place were Niel Retief, Jimmy Parsons, Rob Piers and Christo Janse van Vuuren on 88.

Saturday saw golfers vie for Auto Exec Monthly Mug honours. It was Sanjay Singh who secured the spoils on 67 nett.

Gerhard Labuschagne won the A Division on 72 nett, with Kirk Larson winning a count out for second on 73, Leif Holmstedt won the B Division on 70 ahead of Albert dos Santos (71) and Ewald Ziervogel won the C Division on 72 ahead of Thys Blom (76). Graham Fabricius had the best gross (74).

The individual stableford was won by Hans Stols on 36 points, with Dirk Brand finishing second on a count out on 34.
