It was another eventful week of golf and bowls at Port Shepstone Country Club.
Greg Hornby was in good nick and comfortably won the A Division of Saturday’s individual stableford on 38 points.
Mot Moleele won the race for the runner-up spot after he counted out Pete Govender on 33 points.
Trevor Green was made to work hard but came away with the win in the B Division, the most competitive of the three divisions on the day, after he counted out Marius Grobler on 39 points.
Gerald Koch was third on 35 points.
The C Division was won by Justin Hinchliff on 41 points ahead of Brett Pollington (40) and Carl Grobler (39).
Wednesday’s betterball stableford went the way of Phiwe Mkhomo and Godfrey Zithumane on 46 points.
Phil Myburgh and James Sproule counted out Willem Lindeque and Greg Hornby for second place on 44 points.
The winners of the Business Day Bowls Challenge sponsored by Bates were the Outlook Trading Post team of Jane Massam, Sandy Shepherd and Allan Booth.
In second place were the Birdie Boys, made up of Dave Mee, Murray Ross and Phil Myburgh.
