Port Shepstone Lions/Illovo Sugar Golf Day a roaring success

The 2016 Port Shepstone Lions/Illovo Sugar Golf Day held at Port Shepstone Country Club on Saturday was a great success with a full field of players.

During the prize giving, a cheque to the value of R30 000 was presented to South Coast Hospice CEO Di Van Dyk by Club President Jeff Smith on behalf of Illovo Sugar and the Port Shepstone Lions.

The Lions are extremely grateful to their main sponsor, Illovo Sugar for, once again, so generously supporting the event.

Thanks must also go to the Port Shepstone Country Club as well as all other sponsors and golfers who contributed towards the success of this very enjoyable annual project.

Well done to Project Convener Lion Gary Vogt and his team for all their fine efforts. Approximately R100 000 was raised for the charity.
