Gavin Sole and Gary Purtell claimed the Hugh Purtell knockout trophy at Southbroom Golf Club on Saturday

The prolific pair beat Howard Kelly and resident PGA pro Derek James 6 and 5 in the final to seal the silverware.

“Gavin and Gary outplayed us convincingly and well done to them. It was most enjoyable golf, as knockouts always are,” said the always classy James.
