St Michaels cyclist Cale Lindecke scored an impressive win when he raced to victory in the 19km road race of the Toti 69er in Amanzimtoti on Sunday.

The talented youngster beat our riders much older and more experienced than him to claim overall victory and also won his age group.

Lindecke, who was the 2013 KwaZulu-Natal Cross-Country Mountain Biking Series sprog boys champion, has been touted as a star of the future and his performance on Sunday showed he’s ready to set the South Coast cycling scene alight once more after recently returning from a stint overseas.
