STATEMENT BY UGU DISTRICT MUNICIPALITY:
Ugu Municipality continues to record new COVID-19 cases within the essential service component, which impacts on the turnaround time for attending to the reported cases.
The Ugu Call Centre has been re-opened following a bout of testing, decontamination and isolation of the operators. Phone line 08000 92837 and SMS line 44751 are now fully operational.
Ugu is aware of the delay in restoring water supply in certain areas; the available technicians are working around the clock, kindly bear with us.
