Ugu karateka earn KZN colours

Several members of the WKF Ugu Karate Region team obtained Karate KwaZulu-Natal (KKZN) colours after impressing in the KKZN Elite All Styles Trials held in Tongaat recently.

These karateka will be representing KKZN at the Karate South Africa (KSA) All Styles Tournament in Durban on 21-22 March.

Only affiliated WKF Ugu Karate Region, KKZN and KSA karateka were eligible to attend the trials. The benefits to local karateka being affiliated to the above organisations are exposure, participation and learning karate at its highest level.

Extra training sessions will be held with top instructors coming down from KKZN to Port Shepstone to give training sessions to the karateka. This training is open to all affiliated dojos and all grades of students.
