STATEMENT BY UGU CLUSTER PORT SHEPSTONE:

The public are urgently warned to beware of a scam that is currently defrauding the public of their hard-earned cash. Persons are requested to pay between R500 and R20 000 cash or make a deposit into a specific bank account.  The deposited funds will then allegedly be paid out in 15 days during which funds would have incredibly doubled.

It is concerning that the name of the company promising this remarkable growth in interest is similar to a registered credit provider in the country. However, it has been established that there are no links to the registered credit provider.

The public are advised not to invest any funds with unregistered financial companies who promise such great returns for their money. In these stressful economic times, persons may easily fall prey to scam artists in an attempt to get rich quickly.
